Last month, within the framework of the “Environmental and Ocean Literacy Project in the Black Sea Basin (EOL)” supported by the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Program, we organized three environmental and marine literacy training sessions hosted by Marmara University Marketing Club, Roots & Shoots, and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
In these training sessions, we worked together to address the Black Sea ecosystem, the current issues it faces, and possible solutions, and we had the opportunity to discuss and learn about environmental and marine literacy at an introductory level.
Our training session hosted by the MÜ Marketing Club was led by our dear Selin Kaya; Fatma Nur Tosun and Yeliz Ergöl participated as trainers in the training session we conducted with Roots & Shoots, while Elif Çetin participated as a trainer in the training session we conducted hosted by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
