Four online workshops were organized in October and November within the scope of the “Environmental and Marine Literacy in the Black Sea Basin Project”, supported by the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Program and led by Yuva Association in partnership with Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature (HSPN) from Greece and Green Balkans from Bulgaria.
A total of 80 experts from non-governmental organizations, local governments, and universities in the fields of environment and ocean studies participated in the workshops. During these sessions, participants exchanged opinions on the content of an education program to be specifically developed for the Black Sea Basin and efforts were made to identify educational needs. Following these highly productive workshops, work on the education program was expedited.
