There are no passengers on the spaceship Earth, we are all crew.” Marshall Mcluhan, 1964

Global and local environmental problems such as climate change, air and water pollution, overconsumption of natural resources, and the decline in biodiversity threaten the sustainability of our planet, the quality of life of all living beings and the access of future generations to natural resources.

The planet’s future depends on the increase of globally literate individuals who can look critically at nature and human relations, develop ideas for solving these problems, conduct research and exhibit responsible behavior and understanding within this framework.

As Yuva Association, we have established the Environmental Literacy Network with 37 organizations (non-governmental organizations, civil initiatives and local governments) from Türkiye (mainly Ankara, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Gaziantep, Hatay, İstanbul, İzmir and Mersin) and the EU (mainly Italy and Belgium) through the Environmental Literacy Networking Project funded by the European Union.

Because we believe that change can only happen when all actors with a common concern for the sustainability of our planet act together.

Yuva Association is looking for participants for the Sustainability and Ecological Literacy // Climate Literacy Trainer Training to be held within the scope of the Environmental Literacy Communication Network Project!

On Wednesday, December 16th, Thursday, December 17th, Friday, December 18th, Wednesday, December 23rd, and Thursday, December 24th between 09:30 – 17:30. The training of trainers will be conducted with online tools and methods.

Accepted participants are expected to attend the train-the-trainer days and hours full-time and then disseminate these two training programs.
