We held the Online Launch Conference of our Environmental Literacy Networking Project on July 1st with the participation of 86 representatives from 64 different NGOs and six different local governments.
With the Environmental Literacy Networking Project funded by the European Union and implemented in partnership with Kyoto Club, we are establishing the Environmental Literacy Network, a communication network in environmental education.
Environmental Literacy Network (ELN) is being established to contribute to the increase of “globally literate” individuals who research and implement ways to live more harmoniously with nature.
ELN aims for NGOs, civil initiatives, and local governments to join forces in environmental education, improve their educational and institutional capacities, and contribute to developing ecological literacy by organizing training and advocacy activities.
You can fill out the form at https://form.jotform.com/201103236825040 to join ELN.
Who can join ELN?
ELN is open to all associations, foundations, civil society networks and platforms, professional organizations, city councils and local governments that organize, aim to organize, or work in areas that can contribute to training and awareness-raising activities in the field of environment and climate change, support the purpose of the establishment of ELN, and primarily operate in Ankara, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Gaziantep, Hatay, İstanbul, İzmir and Mersin.
What will we do in ELN?
The activities we will carry out under the umbrella of ELN within the scope of the project, the implementation period of which is three years:

Train-the-trainer trainings for representatives of CSOs and civil initiatives participating in the network to deliver these trainings,
Capacity-building workshops for CSOs and civil initiatives participating in the network,
Social media campaigns and production of an animation to raise environmental awareness for children,
