About Environmental Literacy Network
Global and local environmental problems such as climate change, air and water pollution, overconsumption of natural resources and the decline in biodiversity threaten the sustainability of our planet, the quality of life of all living beings and the access of future generations to natural resources.
The future of the planet depends on the increase of globally literate individuals who can look critically at nature and human relations, develop ideas for solving these problems, conduct research and exhibit responsible behavior and understanding within this framework.
As Yuva Association, we established ELN with organizations from Türkiye (mainly Ankara, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Gaziantep, Hatay, İstanbul, İzmir and Mersin) and the EU (mainly Italy and Belgium) with the Environmental Literacy Networking Project Project, which we carried out in partnership with Kyoto Club and funded by the European Union. We have reached a total of 50 members.
Because we believe that change can only happen when all actors who share a common concern for the sustainability of our planet act together.
