Environmental Literacy Networking Project is a project implemented by Yuva Association (Türkiye) and Kyoto Club (Italy) within the scope of the European Union Civil Society Instrument and Media – Support to Networks and Platforms within the framework of Civil Society Program.

Program Objective:

– To understand what climate and climate change are and to understand their natural causes.
– Understand and be able to explain how human activities affect climate.
– Understand the impact of climate change on the world and people/societies and its possible future impacts.
– To know the importance of limiting the increase in global temperature to 1.5 °C in combating climate change.
– To learn what is being done to combat climate change and what needs to be done at different scales.
– To know that our daily actions leave a carbon footprint on the planet and to make conscious decisions accordingly.

The training will be held on Saturday, June 26th from 13:00 – 16:30 and Sunday, June 27th from 13:00 – 16:00. The training will be held online via Zoom application.

Participants who are accepted to the training are expected to fully participate in both days.

The deadline to fill out the application form is Monday, June 21 at 09:00.
