Environmental Literacy Networking Project is a project implemented by Yuva Association (Türkiye) and Kyoto Club (Italy) within the scope of the European Union Civil Society Instrument and Media – Support to Networks and Platforms within the framework of Civil Society Program.

Aim of the Program:

  • To understand what climate and climate change is and to understand its natural causes.
  • To understand and explain how human activities affect climate.
  • Understand the impact of climate change on the world and people/societies and its possible future impacts.
  • To know the importance of limiting the increase in global temperature to 1.5 °C in combating climate change.
  • To learn what is being done to combat climate change and what needs to be done at different scales.
  • To know that our daily actions leave a carbon footprint on the planet and to make informed decisions accordingly.

The training will be held online on Saturday, March 13, 13:00 – 16:30 and Sunday, March 14, 13:00 – 16:00. Participants who are accepted to the training are expected to fully participate in both days. Priority will be given to participants between the ages of 18-35. The deadline for filling out the application form is Tuesday, March 9 at 17:00.
Participants accepted to the training will be contacted via e-mail on Wednesday, March 10 in the afternoon.
