Raise

The Raise Project aims to contribute to the prevention of natural degradation through the awareness and active participation of young people in environmental issues. The project, which is carried out by Yuva Association in partnership with the 6th Region Directorate of Forestry and Water Affairs, Nature Conservation and National Parks, Pi Pozitif Consultancy, Prisma (Gr) and Institute of Biometeorology (IBIMET, It), was designed for a period of 2 years.

Simultaneously implemented in Italy, Greece and Turkey, the project expects young volunteers from 13 to 18 years of age, together with environmental specialists and teachers, to explore protected areas in their localities and develop 5 online mobile games for these areas. The project, which aims to support volunteering for the environment, combines the use of non-formal learning methods, especially learning in natural environments and computer technologies.

At the same time, non-formal learning tools and a learning guide were developed within the scope of the project which was held in Isparta, Burdur and Antalya in Turkey, and the project was promoted further dissemination activities.

The project was implemented simultaneously with Greece and Italy in Isparta, Burdur and Antalya in Turkey, together with high school students, in the protected areas in the cities in question and completed in 2016.
